Winter conference in Sct. Petersburg, Russia
November 2008

On November 26, 2008 Epoke A/S, among others, gave a presentation in Sct. Petersburg at a winter conference, which had been arranged by the Danish Consulate in Sct. Petersburg in cooperation with the Danish Road Directorate.

The attendees included a wide segment of winter maintenance experts from the region around Sct. Petersburg, and even guests from as far away as Kazakstan were present.

In general, the participants showed great interest, and Epoke A/S is pleased to have contributed to passing on the knowledge about winter road maintenance gained in Denmark.

Expansion at Epoke in Randers
October 2008

Epoke A/S continues to expand the liquid spreader competence, including an ongoing expansion of our motorway spreader product range.

This is the reason behind our decision to expand our current production facilities in Randers in order to increase the assembly plant as of the start of 2009.

For the current season we have delivered liquid spreaders for motorways in many countries, including Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Russia, and many more will follow.

Highest spreading speeds in Sweden

PEAB
Following up on the past couple of successful seasons using the Epoke combi-spreaders and the famous Epoke ”high-speed liquid spreader” from Ströman Maskin AB the company PEAB has now ordered 3 spreaders from Epoke® A/S of the new type SH-4402 high-speed combination spreader, which is capable of spreading dry material, prewetted dry material and liquid at speeds up to 90 km/h. The machines will be delivered in PEAB’s own green color.

NCC
For the 2008/2009 season NCC has purchased 2 spreaders from Epoke® A/S of the new S-4402 high-speed combination spreader due to its great flexibility and utilization rate.

Vägverket Produktion
After many positive experiences with a large number of the Epoke SIRIUS Combi S-4400 and the SLH high-speed liquid spreader Ströman Maskin AB deliveries for this season include: 12 x SIRIUS Combi S-4400, 2 x SLH high-speed liquid spreaders and not least 20 towed spreaders for trucks of the type TKB12-280.
 

Large orders for salt spreaders featuring the 5th wheel patented by Epoke A/S

RISA A/S
This year again the Norwegian contractor RISA A/S has decided to purchase a large quantity of Epoke-machines through our Norwegian dealer, C. Grindvold A/S.

Purchases this year include: EpoMix 20 salt mixing systems, SKE 20 towed spreaders for tractors, TKB12-280 towed spreaders for trucks, SIRIUS S-3500 prewetting spreaders with drive by the patented 5th wheel from Epoke A/S. All machines will be equipped with data collection from Epoke A/S.

C. Grindvold A/S will be delivering a total of 48 machines to RISA A/S for the 2008/2009 season. As usual all machines for RISA A/S are delivered in the distinctive, red color.

NCC Roads
A well-tested SIRIUS Combi S-4400 (combi-spreader) is the reason why NCC Roads decided to purchase 17 spreaders of this type through C. Grindvold A/S. The majority of these spreaders feature the patented 5th wheel from Epoke A/S. The 5th wheel provides great flexibility and independence of the truck. Furthermore, NCC Roads has acquired 3 EpoMix salt mixing systems, which are characterized by reliable and stable operation.

All machines are equipped with data collection and delivered in NCC Roads’ own blue color.

Agromek exhibition 2008 at Herning Messecenter

For the first time ever the Danish branch organization of Machine Suppliers will be exhibiting at the Agromek exhibition in Herning. Epoke® A/S belongs to the Park, Road and Garden section, which is a division of this organization, and therefore, Epoke A/S will also be exhibiting.

We look forward to participating in a new exhibition, and a strong Epoke-team will be ready to greet you there.

IFAT 2008 well in the past

After some very exciting days at IFAT 2008 Epoke® A/S has concluded that the exhibition was very successful seen from a professional view point – lots of customers, dealers and visitors.

The new products and in particular SIRIUS AST and the wireless remote control EpoMaster IV attracted lots of attention. Customers and dealers were very excited about the new bulk spreader SIRIUS AST.

Our stand was in constant motion with numerous visitors. Many customers and dealers visited our stand, where they had the chance to meet their own contacts as well as Epoke-colleagues.

We would like to thank all of our guests for making this exhibition a good and interesting event.

 

Order to the Hungarian Road Directorate
May 2008
Hidrot Kft. and Epoke A/S recently won an order for 30 x SIRIUS S-3500 and 5 x SALT 1 to the Hungarian Road Directorate. Delivery of the machines was executed as per May 1, 2008. With this order Epoke A/S remains the leading supplier of salt spreaders to the Hungarian road system.
 

SIRIUS AST Introduction

The new SIRIUS AST (advanced spreading technology) will be presented at the IFAT 2008 exhibition in Munich, which is held on May 5 – 8, 2008. The spreader will be introduced on all markets as of October 1, 2008.

The new SIRIUS AST is characterized by the functional Epoke-design, high-degree reliability, low maintenance costs and a long component and machine service life.

SIRIUS AST has been tested in harshest winter conditions in Canada and Iceland over the past season without any substantial remarks. SIRIUS AST has delivered 1800 tons of salt and operated for 500 hours without breakdowns. In comparison a spreader in Europe typically works between 150 and 200 hours during a season.

The new remote control is characterized by the functional Epoke-design featuring a large user-friendly display with rotary knobs and push-buttons.
