facilities for liquid spreader competence center

Development and production of liquid spreaders occur at a rapid
pace at the Epoke division in Randers. Conditions at the
previous address became too cramped, and therefore the
production of our high-tech liquids spreaders has moved to
larger and better facilities.
Great demand for our range of liquid spreaders has resulted in
greater demands on facilities, which now include production,
development and testing of liquid spreaders.
We started using the new facilities on October 1, 2009.

Delivery
of 13 spreaders for the County of Vysocina, Czech Republic
October 2009
On October 1, 2009 Epoke A/S delivered 13 spreaders, type SIRIUS
S-3500 to the County of Vysocina in cooperation with our dealer
in the Czech Republic, Unikont Praha S.R.O. With this order
Epoke A/S maintains a large market share in the Czech Republic.

Epoke
A/S got the most points
September 2009
An official test of salt spreaders was recently performed at the
testing center at Bygholm, Horsens, in Denmark. The group behind
the test was the SUG (SprederUdviklingsGruppe = spreader
development group) consisting of representatives of the Danish
Road Directorate, the Danish municipalities, Sund & Bælt as well
as consultant companies.
Winter committees from Norway and Sweden are also affiliated
with this project.
Epoke A/S received the first place using the current point
system. The other manufacturers participating in the test were SALO,
Falköping, Küpper-Weisser and Schmidt/Nido.
Epoke A/S if of course very proud of this fine result, and it
proves that the past few years of development in terms of
optimizing the spreading pattern and the spreading techniques
has been very successful.

Epoke
A/S expands central functions
May 2009
Epoke A/S has recently initiated investments in refurbishing the
development facilities at the head quarters in Askov, including
a physical relocation of the Development Dept. from existing to
refurbished offices in Askov.
The purpose of this investment (relocation) is to secure optimum
cooperation between the development, purchasing and production
units and simultaneously achieve faster execution of development
projects.
The investments total DKK 6 million with scheduled completion
prior to the coming season 2009/2010.

4402 with nozzle bar – high-speed spreader

By season’s end it’s time to review the latest product from
Epoke A/S, more specifically the SIRIUS Combi 4402 featuring the
nozzle bar system.
Customer experiences during the past season confirm that the
spreader meets and exceeds expectations. The users express
particular satisfaction with the efficiency and precision
obtainable at speeds up to 90 km/h.

private motorway in Hungary

Hidrot Kft. – the Epoke® A/S dealer in Hungary – has recently
won an order for 11 spreaders of types SIRIUS S-3500 and SALT 1.
We are very pleased about this order, as it is our first order
to the private motorway in Hungary.
Delivery: 2009/2010 season.

Order
to Icelandic contractor
January 2009
Together with our dealer in Iceland, A. Wendel Ltd., Epoke A/S
has had the pleasure of delivering spreaders in Iceland for the
current season.
10 x SIRIUS S3500/S4400 spreaders and 1 x SLE high-speed liquid
spreader have been delivered to the contractor GT Verktakar.
Among others the spreaders will be serving the road between
Keflavik International Airport and capital city Reykjavik.
