Combi-spreader with the option of spreading alternative de-icing agents

The Municipality of Furesø, Denmark has recently purchased an Epoke combi-spreader enabling the application of alternative de-icing agents by means of a separate tank. The switch between traditional prewetted salt and alternative de-icing material is controlled by EpoSat (GPS-controlled spreading).

The Municipality of Furesø is at the forefront when it comes to eco-friendly winter road maintenance, and is intending to use this spreader in areas that are particularly sensitive to salt effects.

New Service Manager at Epoke A/S as of October 1, 2011

Epoke A/S is pleased to announce that Jesper Dam Buch has been appointed the new
Service Manager.

Jesper Dam Buch, formerly export manager, recently celebrated his 10th anniversary with
Epoke A/S. Jesper has previously worked as a service technician with Epoke A/S and has
extensive service experience with Epoke machines and other construction equipment.

Not only has Jesper Dam Buch gained experience in sales, he has also strong knowledge
of service, products, markets, and development, and as result he is a member of several
product development groups as well.

Throughout the entire Epoke-organization we’re very pleased that Jesper has accepted
this new challenge. We think Jesper’s professional skills and personality match the service
department perfectly. With the increased customer focus and the current development at
Epoke A/S we have found it right to separate service into its own department with its own
manager.

Jesper Dam Buch will be responsible for 7 service technicians/vehicles, in-house service
personnel, logistics/spare parts employees as well as preparation workshop.

World’s largest liquid spreader program

In connection with the dealer meetings, which have been held and continue to be held at Epoke A/S during spring and summer months 2011 it was clear to everyone that Epoke A/S has a very extensive liquid spreader and combi-spreader program.

Epoke A/S is currently the world leader in this field and has a division in Randers, which is almost exclusively engaged in the manufacture of liquid spreaders.

Epoke A/S wins the 2011 tender issued by the Danish Road Directorate 
June 2011

Epoke A/S had submitted the financially most advantageous offer in connection with the 2011 Road Directorate tender. As a result Epoke A/S is to deliver 20 x combi-spreaders and 72 snow plows to the Danish Road Directorate.

This order totals a two-digit million amount (DKK) and is the largest contract Epoke A/S has signed with a Danish customer. Delivery will take place before the coming season 2011/2012.
